An arthroscopic rotator cuff repair is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat tears in the rotator cuff, a group of muscles and tendons that stabilize the shoulder joint. To repair torn tendons, a camera (arthroscope) and surgical instruments are inserted through small incisions in the shoulder. This method minimizes damage to surrounding tissue, resulting in faster healing, less post-operative pain, and fewer scars. For patients with shoulder pain, disability, or limited mobility, an arthroscopic rotator cuff repair is often recommended to restore strength and function.
